wir sind eine tochterfirma von bio suisse , dem dachverband der schweizer knospe-betriebe und eigentümerin der eingetragenen marke „knospe“. wir zertifizieren ausländische betriebe in folgenden bereichen nach den bio suisse richtlinien: landwirtschaft, verarbeitung, handel, wildsammlung, imkerei und aquakultur. im auftrag von bio suisse befähigen wir die kontrollstellen, welche die bio suisse inspektionen vor ort durchführen. unsere zertifizierungstätigkeit erfolgt ausschliesslich ausserhalb der schweiz und des fürstentums liechtenstein. wir sind dafür nach dem iso/iec 17065:2012 standard von der schweizerischen akkreditierungsstelle ( sas ) staatlich akkreditiert. voraussetzungen für eine bio suisse zertifizierung basis für eine zertifizierung nach den bio suisse richtlinien im ausland ist eine gültige und zur schweizer bioverordnung äquivalente bio-zertfizierung (z.b. eu 834/2007 oder nop). die bio suisse richtlinien, welche von den schweizer biobäuerinnen und -bauern demokratisch beschlossen werden, gehen in einigen bereichen deutlich über diese staatlich festgelegten basisanforderungen hinaus (z.b. biodiversitätsförderung, gesamtbetrieblichkeit, düngung, pflanzenschutz,wassernutzung, soziale anforderungen und faire handelsbeziehungen). um die hohen ansprüche von bio suisse sicherstellen zu können muss die ganze lieferkette, vom produzent bis zum exporteur, nach den bio suisse richtlinien zertifiziert sein ( zusammenfassung der bio suisse richtlinien ). kontrolle und zertifzierung die bio suisse kontrollen werden in der regel von unseren vertragspartnern vor ort übernommen. in besonderen fällen führen wir kontrollen auch selbst durch. unser zertifizierungs-team leistet mit einem sehr hohen anspruch an die qualität seiner arbeit und mit einer grossen leistungsbereitschaft und einer klaren neutralität einen wesentlichen beitrag an der glaubwürdigkeit der nach bio suisse zertifizierten produkte. who we are? we are a subsidiary of bio suisse , the umbrella organization of the swiss “bud” operations and owner of the registered brand „bud“. according to bio suisse standards, we certify foreign operations engaged in the following fields: agriculture, processing, trade, wild collection, beekeeping and aquaculture. on behalf of bio suisse we empower foreign inspection bodies to carry out bio suisse inspections on-site. we provide our certification activity exclusively outside switzerland and the principality of liechtenstein. to this end, we are state-accredited according to iso/iec 17065:2012 standard of the swiss accreditation service (sas). requirements for a bio suisse certification the basis for a certification abroad according to bio suisse standards is a valid organic certification equivalent to the swiss ordinance on organic farming (sr 910.18) (e. g., eu 834/2007 or nop). the bio suisse standards are democratically established by the swiss organic farmers and do, in some areas, significantly exceed the basic requirements set by the government (e.g., enhancement of biodiversity, whole-farm approach, fertilization, plant protection, use of water, social accountability and fair trade). in order to guarantee the high demands of bio suisse, the whole supply chain from the producer to the exporter must be certified according to the bio suisse standards ( summary of the bio suisse standards ). how is certification performed? usually, inspections are carried out by our contractual partners on-site. in specific cases we do perform inspections ourselves. our team with an extremely high demand on the quality of its work, its commitment and its neutrality makes a major contribution to the credibility of the products certified according to bio suisse standards. ¿quiénes somos?
